Can anybody explain to my "step by step" how can you set a counter to count forwards and backwards and forwards and backwards again?

at Easy500 series.

Ok, thank you for the link, but I don't know why the program it's not working on my computer

For short I have to program the C.R. to move a parking barrier, so when a driver push a button(I1) the entrance barrier is going up (Q1), then there I have a "optical barrier"(I2) after the car passes by the barrier goes down(Q1), and the counter goes down whit one ... and so on, after that, when a car leaves the parking area, I have another button(I3) to push to open the exit barrier, and again an "optical barrier" (I4) and the counter goes up whit one....... when the parking area is full I have to make a semafor red (Q3) and when a car (or more) goes....... green ... an so on......

I download it, run it, but I don't see the results because the counter remains at 0, doesn't count up or down

I assume that the simulation is not working properly. It sometimes happens with Easy500
programs.

There is a way to run the program. Unfortunately I am working with a German version, so
my translation of the buttons may be wrong. For reference I added two pictures.

A : hit the button "break point"
B : I assume the red indication for "break point reached" is highlighted
C : hit the button "set break point"
D+E : select any path and column, for example path 1 column A
F : hit the button "set break point"
G : hit the button "delete break point"
H : hit the button "continue"
J : the green indication "simulation running" is highlighted and the program is simulated properly
