pull up resistor with easy e-4 to utilize NPN sensors as digital input

the controller can only pnp.
otherwise use an optocoupler, see drawing

... for my part I see no reason why the easy with pullup resistor and NPN transistor should not work!?! Only the input signal is inverted!

Das ist auch wunderbar! Vielen Danke! Mein optokoppler wird mehrere tage nicht ankommen. Ich werde diesen Pullup-Widerstand ausprobieren.
