Titel: How to wire and programme Easy 618-DC-RE
Beitrag von: Runerask am Oktober 13, 2007, 23:03:04 Nachmittag
Hi

I got expand-unit Easy 618-DC-RE and this is 24 voltage unit.

But how do I wire and programme it?

It got terminals as E+, E-, R1-R12, +24V, 0V and outputs as S1-S6.

What is E+ and E-?

I make belive I have to connect 24VDC power to +24V and 0V, but the light on the device just light(flashing) a while then it get off. Sometime it light without flashing, but only a while.

Have I done anything wrong? :P

Thank you for helping  :D

Hi Runerask
You do not need E+ and E- ecept the extension unit is away from the CPU-Unit by EASY200-EASY. For more informatin about wiring use the following link:

Zitat
but the light on the device just light(flashing) a while then it get off

I'n my opinion the LED is flashing in RUN status. Maybe there mast also be a programm in the unit. But I'm not sure. Is there somebady else which can help?

Thank you very much   :D

I think its my powersupply who is wrong, I'm going to get a new one.

But is it the R "Input expansion device" and S "Output expansion device" who is input and ouput?

Thanks

Hi
You are exactly right with your supposition about R and S.
R means Recive of Extension
S means Send to Extension

Input Basis Unit is I
Output Basis Unit is Q

The story about I (Input) and Q (Output):
I means the first letter of Input
O means the first letter of Output bat O is booket for OR  :(. This situation was the reason that IEC decidet for Q bacause Q is very simular to O
Funy isn't it?  ;D
