Hello,
Here are a few questions, questions derived from our will to use an Easy412-dc-sim also with an Easy 822-dc-tc:
1. Can we use Easy412-dc-sim also with Easy8xx-dc-tc?
2. Is the power supply unit of the 412-dc-sim the same as the one of the 800-dc-sim?
3. Why do we have to power the Easy8xx-dc-tc via the dc-sim power suppy unit?
Thank you very much.

Hi Cornel,
some answers:
1.) you see that it is difficult to fit in?
2.) from the point of power capability, yes
3.) because you need a common GND connection (0V).

Dear cornel,
You can use:
EASY412-DC-SIM with easy400, easy500 (DC-types)
EASY800-DC-SIM with easy700, easy800, easyControl (DC-types)
the power supply for EASY412-DC-SIM and EASY800-DC-SIM is the same and is included in delivery of the simulator

Hello,
Thank you very much for your messages.
1. It seems possible to power the Easy8xx also from the first two pins of the inputs part of the Easy412-dc-sim (with some little adjustments, because they do not fit in the 24V and 0V pins of the Easy8xx; but the misfit is, according to Andreas, only mechanical and not electrical). So in this case we could use Easy412-dc-sim also with Easy8xx-dc-xx.
2. We could use to power the Easy8xx another power supply unit (say Easy400-pow, which we already have) and let the power supply unit which come with the simulator to power only the simulator part (inputs and outputs) - leaving the power supply pins - the first two pins - form the input module of the simulator, 'not connected'. So in this case again we could use again the Easy412-dc-sim also with Easy 8xx.
Is this correct? Where do I go wrong?
Thank you very much.
Cornel
