Rather than buy a current sensor if i have an easy in a panel already can i put a current transformer into the analogue input and monitor a pump, as the pump is 150meters from the panel all i want to do is use it as a form of knowing the pump is running or not. If this is possible could someone give me some advice on which current transformer to use and to wire it. Cheers

Hi Bob 5,
it`s possible, but 150m is a long way for 0-10V signal. If you want only monitoring pump (not)running, that`s ok.
Example current sensor: http://www.mbs-ag.com/de/pages/Produktprogramm/index.php?IdTreeGroup=42&navid=1
or you take a current sensor with frequency output to connect at digital PLC input and use a frequency measering block in easysoft.
