we wish to use a easy800 to follow the cycle of operation of a pump on two weeks. the pump is automatically controlled by a sensor of level. for each day we wish to record the cycle of operation and to store them. we wish for example to store for one D-day: " the pump was started at 8am , it was stopped at 10:30, restarted at 12:45, stopped at 3pm and so on ". and this distictly for all days of a week. the informations of a week N must be in memory whereas the week N+1 is in hand. at the week N+2 we crush with N+1 informations the informations of week N. the agents of maintenance must be able to consult the informations in the course of exploitation.
how can we carry out such a program with a easy? a easy800 can it be used if not what easy is necessary ? how can we store date, hours?

Hi alyou
In my opinnion it isnt possible to save actions together with a Time Stamp. But the new Easy-generation has a Function-Bloc includet, where you can send the Display text to a printer. On the display you can show the action together with the actual time. So you have a solotion with a paper protocol. The Easy and Printer must be connactet via Programm Interface plug RS232. Ask, if you need more information.

Alternatively, and depending on how complex you want the system, you could consider the OPC functionality of the Easy relay. I have a network of 5 Easy 800 relays, and then use a MS Windows front end, written in VB.Net. It is then almost limitless what you can do, but simple logging of an event - in your case the switching of the pump output, could be written to a text file, and Excel spreadsheet, Access data table, etc.
