Titel: Pulse output
Beitrag von: K.VEDARAMAN am Juli 30, 2009, 15:10:19 Nachmittag
Hi Friends,

I have a chemical dosing pump which accepts pulse signal to dose chemical. the pulse can vary between 0-180 pulses / minute. Can some one help me in using pulse output function block of easy 800 to give pulse output proportional to flow rate through a pipe?

Dear K.Vedaraman

I understood that your pump needs a pulse frequency instead of pulse width for a
proportional flow rate. I also assume the high and low times may be of same length.

Attached please find an example, where the analogue input IA1 is used for simulation,
the pulse frequency is scaled to 0-180 pulses / min. The high/low time of flashing
timing relay is calculated by arithmetic function block AR1.
