Everything I Need ?
« am: September 22, 2006, 10:19:36 Vormittag »
So I have collected everything I need

Easy OPC Konfigurator

Softing OPC Toolbox

OPCex Excel AddIn

Microsoft Excel

and yes I can get inforation from my Easy MFD into a Spreadsheet.

So my question is, looking at the list of programs only the Softing OPC is a "Demo Version" is it free to use or should I be obtaining a full version from them ?

Hi Alan
The easy OPC server is part of "easySoft Professional". It's not necesary to buy a seperated version.
The easy OPC server offers direct data access, regardless of whether this involves meter values, operating hours counters, or the I/O states of systems or machines. All marker states can likewise be written back to the easy or MFD-Titan, resets can be carried out or setpoints defined.
Best regards
Hermann

The OPCEx Ecel addin can be downloaded from

www.resolvica.com

It is time limited which you find out after a month, bugger all on their site telling you this, ah well you live and learn  :(

Contacting them and getting replies is also a very slow process, if you have a different way to gather your info I would use that.
