Anybody help me and explain a PID and could i use it to keep an analogue output at a set level using an analogue input example - i have a heater which needs to be set at 30C and as the temp rises the output decreeses and as temp lowers the putput increases.

Dino,

Electric heaters are generally ON/OFF devices.  Does this device take an analog input or just a signal to turn ON and OFF?
