Titel: Counter Module 1CNT
Beitrag von: nasarani am März 14, 2013, 15:19:38 Nachmittag
Dear All,
I am a newbie in CodeSys. I have a Counter Module XN-1CNT-24VDC and i will use it as Rotary Encoder, so i will get information how far my motor has moved (mm or m) along x-axis.
The question, how can i use it in Program? I have searched in OSCAT Forum, Codesys Forum and in this forum, but found nothing related to this Module. I suppose, i need to use one or more Library to work with this Module. Could someone tell me?
Thanks in Advance!

best regards,
Yonathan

Hi Uwe & All,
Please help again. So i have read the explanation from EATON and found the Library for Codesys. Somehow i have lost and am confused about which Library should i use.
So let me jot this, i have a motor that will move an Arm with a Saw attached on a Motor. This Arm will move according to the Input from HMI XV102 xx in (+/-) X Axis. I have my 0 (zero) Point as my Start Point, which marked with initator.
What would you suggest for the Library?
XION_HTB_4CAN_CNT or XION_INIT_4CAN_CNT? I found that Operating Instruction, to start Measuring, one should activate SW_GATE but i couldn't find SW_GATE in XION_INIT_4CAN_CNT.. (Which i think, i should use this Library).
And the last question, which object should i implement, 5800 (Encoder Basic Mode) or 5808 (Encoder Control)?

Thanks in Advance for your Kind Answeres:
