So i had a look to some new functions but  i couldn't understand the PO - pulse Output .

 1 .could any body help with some examples

Hi ALi,

a short excerpt from the online help:

Zitat
The PO function block enables you to generate pulse profiles of 24 volt pulse signal sequences. These pulse profiles enable you to control a stepper motor in the three possible individual sequences: acceleration, operation and braking.

The function block can be used with both unipolar and bipolar stepper motors in full or half-step operation.

A suitable driver module is required for controlling a stepper motor.

The PO function block outputs the step data directly via the hardware output Q01 or Q02 of the control relay. The direction information is generated via one of the other outputs Q3 - Q8.
A hardware output is assigned to each function block:
PO01 -> Q01
PO02 -> Q02

You then feed the step and direction data to the input logic of the driver. The input logic for both signals should be optocoupled and process an input voltage of +24V.

The parameter definition for a stepper motor and therefore the function block largely depends on the rated load to be moved. This defines the framework for the maximum start and operating frequency.
