Easy 800 and XV102(color touch with PLC)

Hello

What kind of cable should I use to connect Easy 800 and XV102 color touch panel. What program would you recomend Easy Soft Pro  6.x(progy in easy) or Codesys Easy soft (progy in Panel).
I would like to use Easy 800 as extension unit with IO. Is this possible ? Where can I find any sample ?

Hi Sasek,
you have two options:

Option 1:
You use the XV100 as HMI display without PLC. Then you need the easy programming cable easy800 PC-CAB. Over this connection you can access all easyNET clients.

For this solution you need the easysoft Pro + Galileo.

Option 2:
You buy a XV100 with PLC function - type ... 10-PLC. Then you can connect the XV100 by easyNET to other easy800.

If you only use digital I/O your easy800 don't need a program, so you don't need the software easysoft pro. If you analogue signals your easy800 need a small programm with PUT and GET blocks. In this case you need the software easysoft pro.

For this solution you need the easysoft CoDeSys or MXPro + Galileo,
with analogue signals, the easysoft pro, too.
