EasySoft 5.11 update fails

Can anybody help?
1. I installed the EasySoft Pro demo software.
2. I installed EasySoft (standard) 5.10 after purchase. (I did not uninstall the demo)
3. I tried to update to 5.11, both via the update service, and the downloaded exe file. Both failed, saying no updateable version was found.
4. Easy support in Germany sent me a CD with the update on - this also fails in the same way.

Is there some registry key to delete, or edit, or indeed is the update required at all, and for what benefits?

please do the following steps:

1) delete all older EASY-SOFT versions (including the demo version)
2) restart the computer
3) logon as administrator
4) install EASY-SOFT 5.10
5) Do NOT restart the computer
6) install the update

this should help you

Regarding whether you should update to 5.11

It is strongly recommended:
1) You get new types
-  AC operated MFD-CPU and I/O and
-  communication module to use EASY500/700/800 on the back panel with MFD display on the front (up to 5m away)
2) Bug fixes

I need to correct my previous post, I’m sorry.
Regarding the MFD-CP4 communication module that allows the EASY… display information to be shown on the MFD display:
The MFD-CP4 does not require any programming or software, it is a plug & play device. It could be described as a display repeater.  See enclosed photo

Thanks to Tuete for the advice on installing v5.11, which worked as described.

Also, the info on the bebefits of upgrading to v5.11 was interesting.
