shift register

as far as i know we can move upto seven value up and down in shift register
if i want to move the date in the same way how can one do that using the shift register?

Dear qayyumfaiz.

Are you refering to a date consisting of day, month, year, hour, min?

If yes this is a tricky one because there is no direct access to the system clock. There is a way
with counters, weekly and yearly timers but in nearly all cases the effort is not worth the try.

yes actually i have used a seven day time switch all iwant is to move the date of each day in the shift register..........
