I HAVE HEARD THAT EASY 800 SERIES DIRECTLY ACCEPTS THE ENCODER INPUT IS YES THEN AT WHICH INPUT ENCODER SHOULD BE CONNECTED MOREOVER CAN ANY ONE GUIDE ME WITH THE PROGRAMMING OF ENCODER
I HAVE ENCODER OF 625 PULSES PER REVOLUTION
AND IWANT TO CONVERT IT IN MILLIMETERS HOW CAN ONE DO THAT ??

Dear qayyumfaiz.

You may use an incremental encoder directly at the Easy800 series.

To get a quick help select the CI (counter incremental) function block in the diagram area and
hit the F1-button. A help screen with normally sufficient informations is popping up.

To convert pulses into length you may us the AR (arithmetic) function blocks to calculate it.
