Batch quantities.

I would like to use the screen as a batch quantity counter so the user could set say 1000 using the buttons and the machine would stop at 1000 operations is this possible and can the quantities be adjusted with ease?
And finally how is it done?

Dear sparkyjames.

Your task is easily possible and there are some different ways
available to adjust the quantities. 

Attached please find an example with using the standard
input function.
