counter memory and power off

hello, for my project i use a counter in the program. i can do a read out on the display by pushing a button on the E4. on this moment i have the problem that the counter is empty after power off the PLC E4. i did try to use a microSD card but i can not get it working.

who can help me with this problem?

i found the answer on my question,

under the project button, you will find system settings, there you have to fill in the retention list. after that the system did memory the counter, als after power off moment.
