We have used the mfd-cp4 simulator to view an easy instead of using a screen on the front of a control panel. As we have used the programming cable from the easy to the laptop we have a limited distance, how ever the customer we have likes this idea as he is able to log in to the laptop from his office and view information for some boreholes he has on site, he is also able to reset counters in the program so he has accurate readings for the amount of water used. he has now asked if there is a way that he can have an easy in a box and connect ti to a laptop between 700 & 900meters away. We have used a wireless ethernet system in the pass to view a grundfos pump controller and i was woundering if it is possible to do something similar with an easy and still be able to view the mfd-cp4 simulater using a virtual com port.
