Flickering anologue display

I have fitted a boiler flue temperature sensor to an easy with text display. the values are jumping around.Have used screened cable grounded at both ends(short distance).The Easy is installed in a cabinet with speed controllers near by.Is this noise interference or can the sample rate be changed on the easysoft to give a more average reading of temperature?
Would appreciate any help.

Hi
First switch the speed controller off and disconnect it from the power supply. So you knew if the problem comes from this source.
Sometimes it is better to connect the cable screen only at one side. If you connect on both sides, a different current can flow over the screen.

I've an additional idea. Use a Signal smooting filter "FT". I haven't experience but I think this could be a solution. Read the manual and have a download of an example in the Easy Trainings Center:
