MFD Controller
« am: April 30, 2009, 16:12:31 Nachmittag »
I have a project and need help, i am counting a pulse from a bore hole and using it to show a quantity on an mfd screen,
i also have a tranducer and i'm showing the tank level. All this worked ok using an mfd and an i/o module clipped onto the back, i have now been asked if the mfd screen can be mounted a 100m away. I have now got an easy 819dc and am trying to do the program on the network, i have all the correct conponnents but am having trouble with the program. Is there anybody that could do a program to show me what i need to do. The counter i have used as a marker word.
 Thank you

Yes you can, by Easy-NET. But the Cable Cross-Section (Profile) it is dependent upon the installed length. Please, find attached a cut-out (Chart) of the Manual

Dear Dino.

I assume your question is how to get a value generated in the Easy819 to the display MFD.

The key to solve this problem are the functions PT (put value to net) and GT (get value from net),
which have to be used for all values except binary ones.

Attached please find a small example, where
 - the MFD as Net-ID1 is connected to a 819 as Net_ID2
 - at Net-ID2 the output value of counter1 is send to the net
 - a toogle marker M1 is generating the trigger signal at each second cycle
 - at Net_ID1 the value is received and displayed
