Reset stopped working on Easy 719 DC-RC

I am building a machine designed by me a couple years ago.
I located my programs that were written a couple of years ago.
I have five Easy 719 DC-RC in stock.
I loaded my program with easysoft 6.2 pro into the easy.
The programs seem to load alright and the main functions work but the reset function in my program does not work.
I ran the simulation in easysoft and my reset does not work there either.
I went back to other version of the program and the same thing happens.

Is it possible that an update of easysoft has changed the way the reset programs work?

If my mechanism encounters a problem I need to reset the program and reverse my actuators to the start position, I also used the reset to test that the indicators were working so removing power to reset the easy does not reset my machine. Right now my only alternative is to install a mechanical relay reset that opens power to the easy and jumps the relays closed, that's 6 contacts!

I have just finished testing all the versions of my program that I had saved on the server and found that not one does the resets work correctly.

Could this problem have been introduced in a new version of easy-soft?

I'm going to install an old version of easy-soft and retest my old files.

By reset I mean functions I made to reset my machine as well as reset my timers and counters.

I just tried to use the Z function (Z1, Z2, Z3) and found that they only reset while they are being held but for some reason by old counter and timer values are retained. I checked the retention check boxes on the easy-soft screen and they are not checked.

Dear webweave.

I am not sure how your old programs were working but the Z-function is changing the
values of outputs and/or markers only. It has no effect on counters or timing relays unless
you are not using the Z-contact for reset-coil.

Attached please find an example with Z1-function (changing values of output).

I introduced some inputs, markers and outputs to play with. Additonally there is a counter
and a timing relay. The contact of master reset Z1 is connected to the reset coils.

In case your programs have been different upload one and we can check.
