I am using 1/2 watt 510 ohm resistor between the VCC and the input terminal. I will post pictures of the installation shortly!
In the following pictures are shown the input pullup resistor I am using for the NPN flowmeter input to the EASY input 1 for the frequency counter input, and the voltage divider bridge I am using for the 4 4-20mA level sensors serving the analog inputs 5-8.
The pin-out from left to right on the breakout terminal strip is as follows:
1. the output signal from the NPN flow sensor (with resistor from the +vcc terminal #3)
2. the -12vdc to the flow sensor
3. the +12vdc to the flow sensor, and the +vcc for the level sensors; jumped to terminal #4)
4. jumped +12vdc for the remaining level sensors
5-8 are -12vdc via a resistor bridge to the feedback side of the level sensors
The resistors are 1/2 watt 510 ohm.
Please lmk if you see any problems with this. It is currently functioning; seemingly without problems.
