Please reinstate Admin permission to write the DEVICE NAME in the GENERAL window under the SETTINGS menu of the webserver, and add the ability for Admin to write the DNS SERVER IP ADDRESS in the NETWORK window under the SETTING menu of the webserver.
It would be very useful when trying to provide the ability:
1. of end users to clearly differentiate between multiple controllers which may be sending e-mail alerts
2. of end users to choose to set their devices IP ADDRESS mode to static from the default of DHCP, while retaining the ability to use gmail as their sending email server
3. of the developers (me) to maintain password protection of the program from the end users.
Of course, these setting can always be edited on the back end by me, but that is very difficult to do when I am 2500 miles away from the device, without requiring end users to purchase a license, download software they will never use, and grant me access remotely to their network.
Pretty Please.
Thank you.
