I got same problem

WinXP SP 2 - confirmed from Proporties in "My Computer"

I tried installing two different version 6.11 and 6.10 - with and without reboots in between

I am administrator on the computer

Install was from the homepage (ver. 6.11) and from a friend of mine (ver. 6.10) who got it to work on vista

Any suggestions? drivers? files? windows settings?

edit: I only need the Demo to work, its for educational purposes

Hello

it seems to be a problem with the odbc configuration on your computer.

EASY-SOFT tries to access to it's devicedatabase at start... and can't do it.

Does an installation of a EASY-SOFT worked in the past ?

Did you installed another software package with database support ?

(which evt. damaged the odbc configuration)

best regards

Thanks for the response.

This is my first time using EASY-SOFT and therefore it has never worked on my computer before.
I frequently install new software - but is unaware if it should have database support, however it is very likely.

How/where do i update the odbc drivers? what do i look for?

On a sidenote, there are some files like this:"GeraeteDBDemo.mdb" which i cant open with Microsoft Access it gives an error with chinesee letters (or other similar i am not familiar with), i dont know if that is of any use, or if i even should be able to open the ".mdb" files.
