New downloadcenter for updates easySoft(-Basic/-Pro)

With immediate effect a new Download Center is available for retrieving
Moeller and, in particular software updates. Especially for easySoft, this
simplifies updating, since it allows easySoft to be downloaded to any
internet-connected PC, regardless of whether easySoft is already installed.
The user selects the
1. current software
2. current version
3. current language
and receives the suitable update for this combination. The Download Center
also features a convenient search function to help quickly find the required
updates.

Other download options are
• EASY COM library
• Update easyOPC server
• EASY209-SE configurator
• Labeleditor
• Sucosoft
• SWD-Assist
• USB driver Installation for EASY-USB-CAB/EASY800-USB-CAB

The Download Center is being continually extended with further download
possibilities. Currently it is available in the user languages German, English
and French. It also has a news ticker with information about pending software
updates.

Note
For easySoft versions 5.10 to 6.30 the update services that allow updating
easySoft through the Update Manager (in easySoft menu item “?” l “Update
Check”), has been disabled with the activation of the Download Center.
If you try to use this function, an error message appears.
(Error 13001: product not registered whit the update service.)

For technical reasons the switch to the new Download Center was necessary.

As of easySoft V 6.40 the Update Manager uses the new Download Center
directly, and searches for available updates there.

There will be two ways of obtaining updates in future:
• > easySoft 6.40: Through the Update Manager – in easySoft, select menu --> “?” --> “Update Check”
(finds only updates available for the installed version)
• Through the new Download Center http://downloadcenter.moeller.net,
where all updates are available and can also be browsed with filters.

Is 6.4 released yet?  I have 6.30 Pro Build 3531.  Is there a place to see what is the latest version?

Right now the updater in the EasySoft Pro does not work and there is no corresponding update in the new Download Center.

easySoft 6.40 is currently in preparation.
The Downloadcenter is currently the only way to download an update.
